Navigation specialty course
|
Did you have any idea where you were underwater during your first dive? If not, that can be
quite disturbing. That is why it is important to be able to navigate underwater.
In this specialty you pay a lot of attention to dive and use the compass and natural
navigation.
You get one theory session, in which you learn basic principles of navigating, how to use the
"Nav-Finder" and to plan and organise a dive with navigation in mind. Furthermore you
make three dives in two days when you learn to apply your theoretical knowledge
underwater.
A pre-requisite to this course is a Padi Open Water Diver certificate (or equivalent) and are
medically fit to dive.
Upon successful completion, you receive your internationally recognised Padi Underwater
Navigator certification card.
The Padi Underwater Navigator Diver specialty costs R$ 295,00 and includes the use of all
dive equipment and certification fee.
A specialty course deepens your knowledge and skills in a certain area of diving. It is a fun way to get
acquainted with several aspects of diving. You gain a lot of experience and further more you can qualify
as a Master Scuba Diver.
If you are a Padi Advanced Open Water Diver and have your Rescue Diver certification, you can, upon
successful completion of five specialty courses, enter the elite world of the Padi Master Scuba Divers!
